Here in the UK the new season of not-winter is prompting some flowers to bloom. I took these pics of this anemone with an 01A (top) at 80mm, and an 03B 135mm bottom. Both f4, pentax k3, jpgs - faststone. The 01A pic is cropped more than the 03B pic, I could have got closer but the tripod was bumping into the edge of the flower bed. The 03B was just about at mfd.

Centre frame this lens is super sharp - I took pics of a flower with this 01B and the sigma superwide II, a lens noted for its CF. Nothing between the images. Off centre it does tend to lose a bit I think

I have both and I honestly think that Tamron changed the optics a smidge in the 01BB - it is better..... but on the other hand, the 01B has better ergonomics...
