55B, I prefer the version with a tripod mount. Unfortunately, I do not have the dedicated hood.

Woo hooo - a 360B

(x-post with new gear thread). In the 6-odd years I've been indulging my LBA/GAS buying and selling lenses the number of occasions I've seen one of these can be counted on the fingers of one hand. So when one popped up fpr auction I couldn't resist - I've been thinking about an upgrade to my "beater" 60B that I acquired for a near miraculous price in 2015 for a while. Not a miraculous price for this, just a pretty reasonable one given its scarcity.
First impressions good, although my attempt to get some more reach to photograph a grey phalarope by stacking a sigma apo 1.4x with a teleplus 1.7x tc's was a disaster.
At least I can use my PKA mounts with this, the 60B doesn't work with those any more after a near disaster when it slipped out of the lowepro slingshot, landing on its mount end. And I have added a means of clipping on a carry strap.

I saw your post on the acquisitions thread...welcome to the 360B club!!!

I really hope you get a chance to post pics soon.

I've had what I consider to be reasonable success using mine with stacked AFA 1.7x and A 1.4x-S TC's.

The 360B also works reasonably well with the A 2x-S TC.

slyfox ... nice subjects and i like the colors in the bat's wing ... do you think the just-a-bit-blurry is from the teensy depth of focus, or maybe hand-held ... or maybe you had to crop these for the group ?? ... heh, i am hoping you do the work and figure this out so when i get my 500-8 you will have paved the way ... thanks...

Tamron adaptall 19AH 70-210mm does spring flowers in the garden with a Tarion loupe.

I am experimenting with using a loupe for manual focusing. I spotted the Tarion loupe on ebay and thought it was worth checking out. I already have a perfect GGS loupe that I used on my K5 but it's clip frame is too small to go around the lcd on the K3. The Tarion has a nice metal multi-adjust bracket. It doesn't have diopter adjust (the newer TVR2 model does) but its large eyecup means I don't have to take off me specs (PS fuzzyphoton and aslyfox: could be a good way to go with a 500mm mirror, I'll check it out).
