Thank you! This is really good lens (04B I mean), even if it was not part of "SP" line.

There are probably a dozen Tamron Adaptalls really worth owning, IMO, so it's difficult not to hoard a bit...

The 360B is one of the "worth owning" models, IMO.

Hard times for Mr. Bear

This was in a field adjacent to my yard. I was there photographing some hibiscus after a rainfall, and turned around and saw him sitting not 15 yards away. He didn't seem particularly interested in me. After only a couple minutes he got up and walked away... I followed for a bit until he walked into the woods.

... good work ... i have a friend of mine that might have panicked in such a situation ... and screwed up the shot ...

---------- Post added 09-04-20 at 06:55 PM ----------

...speaking of using what you got ... intellectuuly i make up lists of what 3 adaptalls i would carry in my grab-it bag ... flexibility a BIGGIE so i list the 01a, the 19AH, and the 23a ... ...

but guess what i usually walk around with : a 40a ( 35-135 ) and a set of extensions. i use the extensions instead of the macro button on the lens. BTW, that sliding macro button is interesting .. it isn't just on or off .. it can change the close focal distance just a little also ... neat.

life is good ... ken

I've seen and been around bears long enough to keep my composure when one appears, but it is a bit disconcerting to turn around and see one so close. He could have been sitting there for 5 minutes for all I know.

Yeah, I'm mostly the same way... I think of sensible kits to take in specific situations, and then take something else

I could do a walk-around with the 24-48 13A and 19AH and be pretty well set.

My 24-48mm has a mechanical fault at about 40mm, so my kit would be: 24-40mm, 35-80mm and 23A. I am not sure how much better the 19AH is compared to the 23A, but I am thinking about starting a search for a 19AH.
