Merci Stone G !

I recently acquired a 52BB and have yet to put it through its paces ... I do not have the extension tube, but I am going to experiement with a 01F 2x TC at first ... thanks again for your images and info, J

By all means do so Jean - and I don't think you will be dissapointed with the results.

The 01F works remarkably well at macro distances with my 35-80mm CF Macro lens. I should say that image qualtity - again, at macro distances - is even better with TC than without.

But of course, different lenses respond differently to teleconverters. So, do let us know the outcome of your 52BB+TC experiments!

Thanks again, Stone G ... will keep you and all other interested parties up to date as my experiences develop, so to speak ...

You right in that I should try the 01F on other AD2 lenses in my stable ... there's just not enough time and too many other things to do ! Salut, J

Good collection! I hope I will finish mine with 51B and 06B. But this will take time.
Just one little question. Why do you need 103A and 23A if you have 19AH? Of course, 23A has good magnification at short end, but...

WARNING : More AD2 gratuitous p0rn ...

Back row = 40A, 22A, 20AB (fungus, cannot get it open to clean despite a few tries) and CT135 (?, broken Ap, FD mount)

Middle = PK/M, 44A, 27A and 58A (w/hood)

Front adapters - 2 Nikon, 1 FD, 1 M/MD, 1 PL, 1 OL and somewhere lost in the house is a C/Y ... thanks for letting me show off, J

EDIT : There's a lot of FL overlap and duplication here, because most of these AD2's were acquired at swap meets for very little (ie, the 40A & 44A) or at my local thrift store (ie, the 27A for 3€ and the 52B for 2€ !) ... and usually with an adapter was attached ... that's why I have such a variety ... Salut, J

Bonjour Spamer,

I got the 103A first at my local (Poitiers) B&M shop, then while in Houston, found the 23A in an "after-Xmas" half-price sale bin, then got the 19AH with a Nikon mount from a Bordeaux B&M (it was a good deal that I could not resist) ... just too lazy and/or busy to sell/trade the 103A or maybe the 23A ... J

I'd like to go on record saying that I wish I could get some sharp photos out of my 05A but I don't think that is in the cards... Anyone have any ideas??
