All the Tamron converters will fit it, yes. (The 200F/SP-200 won't fit everything, but it was mainly designed for the 300mm models so it fits all those.)
The 200F/SP-200 does not fit the 360B model of the manual focus 300mm f/2.8 unfortunately. I have the lens and just received a beautiful copy of the 200F/SP-200 converter. Is anyone keeping a database of the serial numbers for this rare converter?

Supposedly the Vivitar Series 1 1.4x TC is the same as the tamron just without the Pz contacts still allowing for AF use with screw drive lenses??

Is this the 01F or the unicorn-esque 200F??
Sadly the unicorn-esque 200F (SP-200) does not fit the 360B... I found out just today when my 200F arrived.

Oh no. The rear element is not recessed enough? I always forget the 360B exists -- I think it is rarer than the 200F. (Which I've had several of, but have only seen a 360B come up for sale a couple of times maybe.) The 200F is getting easier to find and half as expensive as it used to be. The lenses it fits on are coming up more often also -- maybe you should trade-in your 360B for the 60B or 65B? KEH has a couple of the latter at the moment. Seems to me I've read about the 360B needing modification to use even the 140F. (YES, see pacerr's review: https://www.pentaxforums.com/userreviews/tamron-adaptall-2-sp-300mm-f-2-8-ld-if-360b.html)

While the 200F is noticeably superior to the common 01F, still it is probably over-hyped. A more modern 2x, even if it wasn't a "long" model, might do nearly as well. (The 1.7x AF adapter is also a possibility.)

I did not know it was becoming easier to find - 200F / SP-200... might send it back and keep the 360B - a beautiful lens. Anybody need a nice 200F / SP-200 ?

I have a Nikon TC-16A modified to work with Nikon DSLRs to give AF (kind of, but quite good) and it seems to work quite well with the 360B. A nice combination giving me 480mm f/4.5

The 200F / SP-200 does not fit the 360B. The 360B has a protruding cylinder that interferes with the converter mounting, so while it would appear to be clear of the rear element, this cylinder (houses the rear element? need to take another look) is too long. But I appreciate the link to the review - I had not thought of gutting a 1.4 converter and seeing if that works with the 200F / SP-200 (kills any chance of infinity, but I wonder what the maximum I could focus out to would be. Nice idea!

A few more pictures with the Tamron Adaptall-2 No. 17A 35-70mm, this time with film.

Camera: K1000
Film: Decade expired Polaroid High Definition Plus 400 shot at 200.
Develop and scan by Old School Photo Lab
Slight tweaking by me.

These were taken in early February on one of the brighter, but still cloudy days that we kept having. Hard to tell if the old film had a color shift or weakening when it had so little to work with. A couple of the shots look better converted to Black & White, but these look pretty accurate to me.

O4B (Ad-2 200/3.5) on deglassed 01F sees spring!

This combo looks promising for close focus and macro of flowers.
