My niece was keen to have a go at the surf centre, so I took along the SP 200-500mm 31A and a tripod. I didn't have an easy time of it, the dull light meant I upped the ISO to 1600 and still only got 1/500th to freeze the action, in fact I ended up deleting quite a lot of shots for motion blur, and of course for missing focus...
But buffed up and resized some of the shots aren't too bad. Good show, Georgia!
Pentax K5.









I have to admit I had an easier time of things with the DAL55-300mm, and the pics tended to turn out better...
