Some rainy night shots with the tamron 28mm f/2.5 02B

Reminds me very much of many of my trips to Anywhere in America. I do not mean a town called "Anywhere".

Nicely done pictures.

I already have a copy of the 72B, but have always been curious about the prior 90mm macro version, the 52B....

now to satisfy my curiosity:

Is that the 1:1 version or 2:1?

Very nice! I have not seen a Ruby Tuesday for a long time. They pulled out of the West Coast at least two decades ago.

I will be interested in your impressions. Even though I also own the 72B, I have found it difficult to focus for regular closeup work and have thought that the 52B might have been a better choice given its compact size and excellent build.

if I remember correctly, all the 52B and 52BB were 1:2 natively, but the extension that sold with the lens made it a 1:1 macro - the later 72B was a 1:1 macro without the extension...

I love my 72B, but I was curious about this as a macro for my M42 mount body....

Thanks!
They are still around the northeast. We have several in the area.

I love it; easy to focus, lovely colours, reasonably compact. Sharp, too, of course...

Glou-glou...

It looks like there is a nice copy of the well-regarded 40A f3.5-4.5 35-135 for sale on the auction site, with only about 2 1/2 more days to go. Only one bid on it so far. I wouldn't mention a peep about this, if I didn't already have a copy of it. It's got an Olympus adaptall ring on it, but that's easily remedied.

Tamron 35-135mm f/3.5-4.5 Macro Tele Zoom For Olympus OM | eBay

Here's the PF review. There are only 3 reviewers, but you'll recognize names. And of course there are some pictures taken with the 40A in this and other threads.

Tamron Adaptall-2 35-135mm f/3.5-4.5 (40A) Lens Reviews - Tamron Adaptall Lenses - Pentax Lens Review Database

I don't have any relationship with the seller. Condition description sounds good to me, but proceed with usual auction site cautions if it interests you.

Seeing the listing reminded me that I haven't put my 40A on a camera for a while. Time to do that again. Other 40A fans got anything recent taken with it to post here?
