Today I cobbled together a "telemacro" from the 19AH + Pentax A 1.4x-S TC. That's 210 x 1.4 = 294mm with a max magnification of around 1:1.7.

Not as good as a true macro lens, but the 19AH is pretty sharp and the above TC is about as good as it gets (outside of the A 1.4x-L, of course).

Thank you. The sun glinting off a car parked in the street behind my house. I had to wait for the finch to land in the correct position.

Sp 23 A

SP 23A (60 -300) on K-7. First one closer to the long end, second one around 70 mm.

BTW, I realised that I need one more P-KA mount. To my surprise there are (almost) any Adaptall listings in the marketplace. Maybe one of the Members here has one spare for sale?

very nice pics of the horses ... the 23a comes through again ... for my Tamrons under $50, i like my 01a most often ... ... and usually the 23a over the 19AH ... more range, about the same pretty pics ... or for light and handy, the 40a ...
btw, i have an extra pka adapter

I have seemed to acquire a few Tamrons, a 200mm 3.5, 35-80 2.8-3.5 (2 of) and have a 28mm on the way, need to acquire another KA mount for them had to buy two lenses I did not really want to get mounts at a better price than them on there own.

This past week I've made a real effort to use my Adaptall 80-200/2.8 30A. It's a very good lens, but not a focal range I'm particularly comfortable with.

Rare visitor to my garden.

In between the rain showers I saw this, grabbed my K5 and Tamron SP90 and shot a couple before a cabbage white spooked it.
Cropped a bit.

Heard this Woodpecker this morning and happened to have the Tamron 55BB on my K200D so took a couple of shots before it flew off. Hand holding a mirror lens is not ideal but at least I got a shot of it.

I've seen photos of Neowise made with much more expensive gear that are not nearly as good as yours.
