There are some great photos here, guys! Congratulations and keep up the good work.
I've been building my collection of the Tamron SP Adaptall-2 manual focus lenses for several years now. It's almost complete - I'm waiting to receive a copy of the late model SP 90mm f2.8 Macro and then I'll be done. I only have one of the three 300mm f2.8 designs, but they are too pricy for me to have more than one! I also only have only one of the SP 500/8 mirror teles (the second, improved version), and only one of the SP 90/2.5 macros (the first one; the second was a cosmetic variation). With that caveat, I will have all of them, including the three SP teleconverters.
If you are interested, I posted about my most recent acquisition, the SP 28-105mm f2.8 here:
http://www.dpreview.com/forums/read.asp?forum=1036&message=31811425 It's an interesting lens but I'd rather shoot with my Pentax DA*16-50 and DA*50-135 for everyday use.
My sharpest Adaptall-2 lenses are probably the SP 90mm f2.5 Macro, the SP 180/2.5, the SP 300/2.8, and the SP 400/4. The SP 200-500/5.6 is also surprisingly good. I was disappointed with my recently acquired SP 300/5.6 so I sent it out for service, and learned today that it had a loose element and was out of collimation. It will be nice to finally see what it can do when it comes home again.
Actually, one of the hardest part of building this collection has been finding enough Adaptall-2 P/KA mounts for all my lenses. I think I've finally gotten enough of them after my most recent "find" at a small camera repair shop in Seattle. Thanks goodness for the Internet!
And by the way, the Adaptall-2.com website mentioned in the OP does not list all of the Adaptall-2 SP lenses. There are three additional ones, all late introductions: the SP 35-105mm f2.8, the SP 28-105mm f2.8, and the SP 90mm f2.8.
