Originally posted by kernos I'm wondering if it would be likely that I could buy a cheap tokina mount lens and swap the mount with my OM 90mm ATX macro? Has anyone converted a Tokina ATX to PK without glass or extension tubes? I've tried the fotodiox glass converter and it really was bad.
I didn't do what you tried. I did something similar though : i swap mount from à Vivitar S1 70-210/3,5 from OM mount to K mount.
It's Easy to change mount : you just have to use thin spacer to adapt the flange distance.
The hard part is to be able to "make an aperture lever" usable.
I would suggest you to try to find à K mount version, instead of swapping mount. Unless you have à very good skill set and tools to do the work.
