These shapes are accumulated water within the individual channels in the curved roof of my in-laws' swimming pool and I think that the columnal shape that they take on makes them look like a city skyline. I had planned to photograph them straight-on but that reduced their appearance as skylines, so I did it from the side.

After all these years... my first FA lens. I bought the 80-320mm f/4.5-5.6.

It should have been a 300 at most. They really stretched the optics at the long end, the borders are always mushy. But the center is still alright at f8, even at 320mm. These don't show it because this was just hand held snaps, but I have taken other pictures at 320mm that were sharper (but just tests around my back yard...)

Bokeh is actually not all that bad.

And I'm enjoying the colors throughout the range. The coatings seem quite good. And at 320mm it focuses reasonably close.

k-3ii...fa35.....(2)af360fgz...af200fg...cactus v6 & v6ii......would have been nice to gel the very far flash as well.....the fake explosions would have blended a lil bit better....
