Kesha, your pics are as stunning as your models. Great stuff!

I only own one FA, the 135/f2.8. I say 'only', but I'm really glad I do - it's a gem. It's fast (both in AF and aperture), discreet, and well-built:

Fa 50 1.7

.

f/1.8, ISO 800.

Trying to turn over so hard...

Mama helps out...

f/2.2, ISO 500, 1/200s

What's that thing you have there, dada? (Mom says, "Get used to it." )

And, welcome to the start of teething!

What a beautiful little baby jsherman (my kids have gotten quite snarky and humorous on the subject of Mom's constant camera :P)

Thanks! My older boy (2.5yrs) now asks me to 'put camera down' when he wants to play...

Heh - you just wait! My 2 conspire against mom's camera, "Look out! SHE'S AIMING THE CAMERA AT YOUUUUU!" Tell me - how's a parent supposed to get any good shots with that kind of sibling cooperation?

And it doesn't get any better when they are grown! I had my FA 50 1.4 out yesterday, reassuring my "adult" daughter I was just working on exposure and not taking shots for posterity.

That didn't stop a shot with that famous gesture which I won't post! Other times it's just her hand in front of her face.

Her brothers are just as uncooperative. I'm glad to read it's not just me

Sigh. Us camera parents - persecuted, I tell you!!

Here's a shot tonight from the FA100-300 4.7 (the sleeper zoom of awesome). Mr. Starling here has been building his nest right above our front door, so we had to shut him out before he procreated and we had a busy nest of chirping chicks waking us up at dawn. Mr. Starling is not happy - look at him, he's ticked we ruined all his hard work by installing wire mesh!

ETA: why does the BB code insist on making all my images uniform sizes? The algorithm sucks - makes them all look bad

Fa 50 1.4

Some shots from my FA 50 1.4 - in some ways, more pleasing than the 1.7, if a bit softer before f/2.

f/3.2 1/250s iso 200

f/2.8

f/4 1/50s iso 200
