I got the 50-135 this week, my first da* lens and now I might have to sell the Sigma 17-50 I got last month for a the 16-50.

Just got my 16-50 back from Precision today....also 206 plus tax. Was not SDM....the zoom got locked in place. I will say it looks brand new. Will try it out this weekend.

I've got both the DA*16-50 and DA*50-135. They make a great combo. Both mine are sharp with great IQ. I've never owned a Sigma so can't compare. I've read on this forum though that others have said Sigma displays a more yellowish cast. Not sure if it's true but many have agreed on that observation.

Me too! I miss my 16-50.

Still in repair status at Precision. At least it's not waiting for parts.
