Love the lily shot. So much color. Nice house, such a sharp lens!

Nicely captured! Mist and fog are tough to portray how it actually looked.

I live by a fairgrounds which is usually pretty quiet but one week a year there's a big rodeo and carnival going on that makes it pretty noisy at my house. So we spent one evening checking out the carnival for my son and then headed to a favorite camp spot only about 10 Miles away and spent a few days camping, hiking, and riding bikes. We had some thunderstorms too, so I kept the DA* lenses on most of the time in case one rolled in.
I took a bunch of photos, here are a few that stood out to me so far.

Thank you! I was wishing I had a hiker, biker, or some deer in that one in the green sage foreground but no such luck! The mist is actually a downpour by the way. Raining hard for that one so I was happy to have a DA* on the camera!

Visited a bike park on my way home from photographing a sand sculpture competition.

This shot hit me as being almost an archetype of the concept of "hanging out"

The 60-250 did a great job of freezing people catching air:

20150711 at 125545-80 mm-⁄₁₀₀₀ sec at ƒ - 8.0-ISO 800 - smc PENTAX-DA*60-250mm F4 ED [IF] SDM

(sometimes unintentionally):

20150711 at 125616-60 mm-⁄₁₀₀₀ sec at ƒ - 8.0-ISO 640 - smc PENTAX-DA*60-250mm F4 ED [IF] SDM-2

And this one just begs to be turned into a meme of some sort (something like "I told you not to say bad things about Olaf!" perhaps):

20150711 at 123024-68 mm-⁄₄₀₀ sec at ƒ - 7.1-ISO 125 - smc PENTAX-DA*60-250mm F4 ED [IF] SDM

(and yes, there's a cooling tower in the background of some shots. I just googled for the name of it and discovered it's *not* a nuclear plant, just a coal and gas plant that happens to use the same style cooling tower. Weird, I always thought it was nuclear.)

The Nitty Gritty Dirt Band playing a local outdoor venue. It was fun to hear their old classics that reminded me of childhood!
