Da* 200

a few DA* 200 shots

The blood moon this past September. Used a K5iis and it was my first time to take lunar shots...tried quite a few combinations of ISO/Aperature. Would have been nice to do a set of photos with long exposure to get more stars in the picture with it.

ISO 1600, f3.2, 1second

Quite a few football pictures from last season 2014 and this season 2015 -- around 3000 or so clicks with at least half under stadium lights. I also use it for taking equine events...I'll post a couple of those too later on. Never think "I can't do action with Pentax". Of course the High School level stadiums leave a lot to be desired as for lighting, but this camera and lens combination are more than adequate if you employ some good techniques.

Quick question, does the DA*16-50 have a hard stop at infinity? I'm thinking I might want to go wider than my HD DA 20-40 for shooting the northern lights, and would probably replace it with the DA* if that's the case. Otherwise I'll get a 14 or a fisheye or... dunno what.

In any event, chasing the dog again with the 50-135
