Moose calves near Riley Creek, orphaned in early June when a park visitor shot their mother inside the park boundaries near the entrance. No arrests have been made, yet. The calves probably wont last the summer... DA*50-135

Unfortunately this happens way more often then it should.

A few shots from yesterday at the local Gardens and Sculpture Park, all with the K3 and DA*50-135.

She was not too happy about having her picture taken.

I am surprised this one turned out at 135mm and 1/40s handheld.
