I just checked out your link and your pictures. They are indeed wonderful and inspirational but also make me feel like a complete and utter loser.

Thanks for that

I'd love to know what gear all of those pictures were done with. I don't seem to be able to load EXIF data on this browser. Are they mostly the 60-250?

Thank you :-)

Most of the pics in my link were taken with the K-X and the Sigma 10-20. For the money its a great combination for landscapes.

I like the vignetting - but I like dark pictures. The third one is a superb shot Bart.
Thanks, Mark! Appreciated!

Thanks Mark

PS: Would that be the F3.5 model or the F4-5.6 one?

Cheers

I may have to sell my Tamron 17-50-2.8 and FA50-1.4 for a copy of that DA*55...

Thanks folks - I liked it but wan't sure what everyone else would think. I quite like having big empty spaces in my pictures but it attracts a bit of criticism in some quarters.

The 10-20 was the f4 version Bossa. I don't think I took a picture at any less than f8 though (and a max of f13 if I remember right)

Yep :-)

Normally I do a max of 4-5 minutes. On this occasion I'd missed what I thought the optimal time was as it got light quite quickly so I experimented with a Lee 2 stop ND filter in front of the B&W 10 stopper. A bit extreme but its always fun trying something new.

I've never found much noise with the K-5 and long exposures. Only problem comes with under exposure.
