Two samples from my DA*50-135. Can't believe the shots came out so sharp...

a yawning lion [ISO 80; f/ 4.5; 1/640s; 135mm]

a smiling camel [ISO 640; f/ 5.0; 1/250s; 135mm]

Thanks Peter! I spotted it driving home yesterday, and I just had to turn around and pull over

My only DA* lens is the 16-50 which doesn't see much action since I started collecting limited primes. And then of course the inevitable repair visit... However it is back now and I am using it daily for Single in September. Does take a nice landscape shot.

The DA* 16-50 is a great lens. The colour and depth are fantastic. Nice shot, (almost) neighbour!

Just wanted to share two random bird shots I took during a recent visit to a zoo.

First up is a swan. It was a magnificent, huge bird strolling slowly behind a low fence, so I could get a good look at it.
[DA* 50-135; 1/200 s; f/ 3.5; ISO 1000]

The other is a bird I do not know. It was small, and did not give me much chance to get a good shot.
[DA* 50-135; 1/250 s; f/ 3.5; ISO 500]
