Hmm how are you nailing action shots simon? I find that my week old DA* 55mm is really slow at AF. Do you use center point AF exclusively?

I use SEL (SELective AF) with the four way controller exclusively.

Number 1 and more especially 6, are stunners. I find the 55 very slow if moving from person to person, say at kids party, but if tracking one person it is fine. Dare I say that I tried a D700 the other day, all I can say is AF is FAST.

It's been quite a while since I posted here but I recently had some photos with the DA* 16-50 accepted in PPG.

I thought I might share these here as well:

Nice ones guys,
Bart the last one is a stunner indeed! I like th first too though, and on the 2nd it's only the heavy handed vignetting that kind of messes it up for me...

Thanks Peter!

Indeed some heavy vignetting. It all depends on the mood I'm in how dark I aim to make my pictures

I like the vignetting - but I like dark pictures. The third one is a superb shot Bart.

60-250 exif shows as an A series 35mm as one of the contacts is bust. It meters but AF doesn't work and its causing various other problems as well.
