Not the most exciting subject but another good example of how the lens renders out of focus backgrounds I think...

Love the bokeh this lens produces even @ F5.6Attachment 157116
The bokeh is nice but, I was immediately drawn to the eyes. Well done.

Thanks! Would have been nice to capture that in the wild but zoos do make for good practice...

Pentax DA* 16-50mm F2.8 on the K20D - Old Norwegian churches

In "Post your medium format photos" I posted some images of old Norwegian churces (https://www.pentaxforums.com/forums/pentax-medium-format-645-6x7-645d/87027-p...ml#post2254482) taken with the S-M-C Takumar 67 75mm F4.5 on the Pentax 6x7 in black-and-white. For the sake of comparison, I post a couple of colour images taken with the DA* 16-50 F2.8 on the K20D.

The old church in Gaupne, Western Norway (built 1647)

Urnes stave church built around 1130-40 - one of the oldest of its kind and still stands at its original location. The northern portal is from an older church built on the same spot around 1060-70

Nice shots!

Not really the point I know, but how do you feel the K20D photos compare against the 6x7 shots technically?
