While I always love your farm shots, I really like the driveway shot - guess it is the subtle sunlight hitting the sides of the trees in contrast to the light snow.

Did you try tuning the AF? Or is the issue with the size of the AF points?

I've been happy with mine, but I don't do studio portraiture, so I don't really expect as much out of it at 1:1.

AF has been calibrated for all my lenses. Size of the AF points is definitely an issue with some subjects. Sometimes the AF just misses it completely.

It's been snowing in southern Finland all afternoon, it's looking like we could have a lot of snow on the ground for Christmas! Would be great to get out and take some winter shots, I haven't been able to do that for almost 2 years.

Went to belchertown again, tried to use some new perspectives.

All DA* 16-50 on my K-01. Kind of astonishing how sharp it can get at times.

YMMV, but I think you'll be very happy with a K-3. I shot about 250 pictures that day and for about 240 the focus was spot on - way better than I expected from my experience with this lens on the K-5, especially since they were shot under difficult (focus) lighting conditions (they were not shot in a studio, but on location in a beauty salon).
