Originally posted by jeffryscott Coming back to Pentax after two years. Flirted with Nikon and Fuji. Then when it came time to buy my daughter a camera for her photo class, Pentax was the clear front runner for me, best build and bang for the buck for an older, entry level camera (K20D I bought here). After she received it, it got me reminiscing and looking at some old photos from my K5II, 16-50 and 50-135. My biggest complaint was AF-C (thus the Nikon) and when that wasn't as important, went to Fuji. Love the small size, but in reality, the lenses I was striving for were as big or bigger than the Pentax equivalent, and cost a lot more. So, long story short, Fuji is gone, have K5II, 16-50 and 60-250 (addresses my other complaint, the lack of reach of the 50-135, though I adored that lens). Here are two from my first go around with Pentax from the 50-135 and 16-50 ....
Welcome back! I rarely go anywhere without my 16-50 and 50-135 together with my K-3. I absolutely love what I can get out of the 50-135, such an amazing piece of glass. The 60-250 is on my wishlist.
Love your shots by the way.
