I think I prefer the color version. The black and white is really nice too, though. I'd be happy to have either hanging on my wall...

I've been shooting a company event today with my DA* 50-135, man I love this lens. It's just so good. It's quickly become my favorite lens, probably ever.

Can't think of a better way to spend a rainy morning than with a blacktail doe & her fawns

Some cycling from last weekend. This was the West Elk Bicycle Classic, 135 miles and 9000 vertical feet of climbing. Stout ride!

I really like the first shot. The mountains in the background and the tiny bicyclists in the foreground make an amazing vista.

Went to the beach in Massachussetts last weekend, and caught this nice Grasshopper on the sand, taken with the Telephoto DA*300mm (so xposted with the 300mm + club)
It has a very good camouflage pattern for sandy beaches!

I think This is the right species, so if I made a mistake, let me know...

Thank you. I was pretty pleased with it as well. My assignment that day was to get more recognizable rider photos but those long shots are often my favorites too.

Wowza. Print-worthy for sure. That first one is fantastic.

Flash on that last one?
