My first DA* lens arrived this week. The DA* 300mm F4. Took it out for a test today in the -20C weather. Taken with my K3+Tamron PZ-AF 1.4x teleconverter and the DA*300.

Hope it’s ok, it’s a Pentax DA* lens, but not a Pentax camera.
Using my DA*300 for astrophotography, the camera is a ZWO ASI533MC Pro - I cannot get myself to sacrifice my K-70 on the altar of astrophotography by removing the UV/IR cut filter.
Rosette Nebula, 3hours exposure, 60x180sec.
