Thank you very much for the kind words, and also on my Flickr page.

I see you are lucky to live not very far from Yellowstone. My recent trip there has to be one of the best holidays in my life. I cannot wait to go back.

Agreed, the price of poker has gone up!

You know pschlute, I've been over there several times but always fishing the Madison River. It's time to take the cameras into the park. In the old days of cheap gas it wasn't that big a deal, now it's kinda spendy getting over there. It's been a few years since I've fished the Madison, hmmmm more than a few, I haven't been there since I've invested in my kit. There wasn't enough money to buy lenses and go places like that. Now would be a perfect time to go.

DA*300

No great drama to the shot, but I've realized I'm more of a collector than a shooter.

My bank account is still feeling the after effect of buying the DA*50-135mm. I checked it today and I had to find a way to console myself. These two pics did it.

DA*50-135mm (heavily cropped, no major PP just some sharpening)

DA* 50-135

It's a very beautiful lens, amazing rendering - colours pop and contrasty, nice bokeh.
