Don't limit your 35mm ltd to just gorgeous macros - it can do so much more!

Humming bird nest in the Buckeye tree. Babes kept showing their heads, and then got scared. So the photo does not show any little guys, but it has the spider silk construction clearly displayed.

I was the "Scary Photographer" and the Babes hid from me. Mama was circling. Sorry, Mom.

Great photos. The portraits are especially good - despite the short focal length, this has always been what I feel the 35 ltd does better than anything else. It's my absolute favourite portrait lens.

Aerial Ballet

The fledgling hummingbirds don't play well together around the feeders. I caught this fight between two of them. The photo is technically poor because it was handheld and could not lock focus on this choreographed battle. But notice the two tails, four wings, two heads and beaks. Shot with the DA 70 and cropped to enlarge. Wrong lens, no tripod, no burst mode, no preparation. But interesting, nevertheless.

I did a little backpack overnight last night to get sunset and then sunrise with these flowers.
DA 40 Limited is great for going light.
