I'm having a fantastic time with the DA 35mm. This lens can do no wrong My favorite 2 shots at this point:

Color and contrast blow me away, but so does the complete lack of CA:

The front barrel on my recently traded for DA 70 has a slightly "loose" feel. It can be moved a little side to side (and I think front-back). While this seems to have no effect on IQ, is it normal? Other Limiteds I have/had were tight...

Just to confirm, you aren't talking about the hood by any chance, are you?

I love the DA 21mm for kid shots; I wonder if I'd love the DA 15mm that much more?!?

No, actually the entire front group can "wiggle" a bit. As I said, it doesn't affect IQ, but while looking through the VF, if I tap the front of the lens lightly or rock the focus ring, the image moves perceptibly as well. I just wonder if this is normal, or if it might need to be adjusted by a tech...

I used to have the same thing with my DA40. No worries, from what I have read, it's normal for DA ltds to have or develop a bit of play...

So if one were to acquire a DA limited lens....what would you suggest? The lenses I own are in my sig. I'm pretty sure I'd like something longer than 50mm....so does that just leave the 70mm??

the 70/2.4 is my favorite, but really it's hard to go wrong.

After seeing the price of the 70 compared to some of the other limiteds I think I am actively searching for one right now

Thanks, that's the sort of thing I needed to hear! I'll go back to enjoying my new lens now.
