Got my first limited lens this weekend, the DA35mm Limited Macro. Really loving the sharpness and the versatility.

You sure are putting that lens to good use - an interesting series of pictures you posted. I especially like #1 and #4.

Just got a nice used copy of an SMC DA 35mm Macro f/2.8 Limited, so i can enter this prestigious club Hoping not to displease anyone with Limited photography skills

Did a quick test to ensure it's fully functional. So far i like the compactness, the top notch built quality and the versatility...you can go from this (wide open f/2.8)

To this ( f/8, probably around 1:4 "pseudo macro" magnification )

To capturing fine details in the small world around us ( still not maximum 1:1 magnification if i am not mistaken).

Can be viewed fullsize

Gotcha. Definitely a fun place. Should've taken a pic of my crab cake but it just mysteriously disappeared.

My new DA 35 Macro

A couple of photographs I made yesterday with my brand new Pentax SMC DA 35mm f/2.8 Macro. K-3 - uncropped JPG 24mp. Wonderfully sharp and versatile lens.

Trying out new K-3 with DA 35 Limited

This high resolution sensor really does justice to quality lenses
