I've been asked about the DA70 vignetting on the K-1. Yes it exists, and obviously the wider the aperture the more pronounced it gets. However I like to vignette my images if I believe it will add to them so for me I kind of like the natural look that comes out of this lens on FF.
These images are jpegs exported from LR6. The image was me practicing slow shutter tracking of moving objects and who can resist a nice Kombi?
In the limited time the DA70 has been on the K-1 I've found that the vignette is minimal by f5.6 and of course PP will remove a vignette easily. Indeed, the second image has the Adobe profile for this lens added and a +10 lightening vignette applied. No other PP, just export to jpeg.
Anyhoo, enough jibajabba, a Kombi in motion at f5.6 with the smc DA70 on the K-1.
Hope this is of interest to those who were considering using this lens on FF.
