Nothing quite so elaborate.

The tool on the back is a disk but the tool is a bit light for local conditions so the operator has chained a copper log (2m length of strainer post) on it to apply extra downward pressure

Not this time. I did go up in a balloon in spring last year and it was great, I'd recommend it to anyone, especially in Segovia. Unfortunately I didn't win the photo competition accompanying the festival, the prize being a trip on a balloon in next year's festival.

A tiny jewel.

I just received a used HD DA 40mm. I took a few shots outside (in murky light) to test the lens and it's astonishing. Fast, accurate focus, sharp, does shallow depth of field well and I like the focal length more than I'd expected. Definitely a keeper.

I saw this tiny insect on the edge of the cosmos and refocused to see if I could get him. Yep

(heavily cropped - because he / she is tiny.
