And car show with the 35mm

I switched to the 35mm to get in close to the detail.

Sunset in Melbourne

Sunday night had a lot of interesting weather which made for a different sort of sunset. Shot handheld with the K3 and 35mm Ltd.

My (relatively new) SMC DA 40mm Ltd strikes again

Taken with my recently acquired SMC DA 40 Ltd, mounted on my KP, a truly portable and nifty take-anywhere combination. And one which lends itself quite nicely to monochrome processing -

Taken with my SMC DA 21mm Ltd, indoors with available light - at maximum aperture (f 3.2) --- I like this lens quite a bit, and it makes for a nice small hand-holdable rig mounted on my recently acquired KP -

Great handling of challenging snow landscape--from a man who does not need medium format for image quality!

Thanks! I love the DA 40. One of my favorite lenses. I wish it was truly a FF design.
My 645D would have been a bit bulky and heavy for this outing! I skied a little over 1300 vertical feet over 2.6 Miles which isn't really that far unless you are carrying something heavy like a MF camera kit!

“We are the music makers, / And we are the dreamers of dreams.”
(Arthur William Edgar O'Shaughnessy)

Opal concentrating as she plays her violin, making the strings resonate, making invisible music waves in the air.

Taken with the SMC DA 40 Ltd, mounted on my KP body.
