Handling depth of field is not a problem, and quite short minimal focusing distance is a plus!

With children here now being allowed out for a walk with one parent, that gives me a slightly expanded scope of things to photograph, though it limits me to AF lenses as I have a 17-month-old to supervise at the same time.

20-40/2.8-4 Limited on KP. Much enlargement. The KP and this lens are perfect together.

Perhaps why so much of the official KP publicity shows them together. I'd love to get a copy of that lens sometime but it does have somewhat mixed reviews. It's also pricey and very hard to find on the used market (at least here). I'm sure I'll get my hands on one one day...

I bought both the KP and DA Limited 20-40 used for much better than new prices. Both are silver version, not because I was wanting silver, but because those were the deals. After getting the 20-40 from a Forum Marketplace seller, I sold my 21mm Limited to recover some money. The 15/4 Ltd and 20-40 Ltd. make a perfect wide to normal companions to either the HD55-300 or DA*60-250.

The last couple of days I've been taking the DA 70mm out for our daily walk. It's so long since I gave this lens some decent use and I'd forgotten how good it is.

I'm not landscape expert by all means but I think the DA 35 Limited would do well in that discipline, in the hands of someone who knows what they're doing

Very nice contrast and colors at longer distances.
