well, after looking through basically ever page of this thread, i am glad to say i am now a very happy da35 owner poor weekend for photos here (overcast and rain) but i hope to be contributing something meaningful in this thread soon!

Thanks matt! Depends on what you mean by "much". PP was simple, but pretty aggressive. Bumped the blacks way up in raw editing along with the exposure (as far as I could without destroying detail on the edges of the silhouettes), then converted to B&W in PS with a blue filter to blow out the rest of the sky. Once I had the images in place in a new document I had to do some simple transformations on the sky and ground to make sure they stretched to fill the full frame.

ok, fair warning. my first day of being out and about with my newly obtained da 35.... all handheld shots; minimal pp.... i'm still taken aback at just HOW MUCH DETAIL this baby captures in macros!!!

I don't use one and can't think of a reason to do so.

I never do on my DA40 or the DA15. I realize I could and have put one on to test but for actual shooting I don't ever feel like I need one.
