I'm struggling lately. I want to LOVE my Pentax K-x, but up until now I've had a hard time bonding with it. I know it sounds silly. I used to LOVE my Olympus e-410 and haven't felt the same way since about a dSLR.
I finally got to the business of really fiddling with the colors in the camera settings. I was shooting raw, but felt like it underexposed a bit so followed some tips I found around here and also adjusted my own color settings to get more of what I like out-of-camera. I still post-process, but I like the photo that comes out of the cam to have some pop. I think I'm spoiled by Olympus colors and Leica sharpness.
Anyway, for Christmas I got a 40mm f/2.8 Limited from my mom, and about a month ago bought the 70mm f/2.4 Limited. Played with them quite a bit this week and with my new custom colors, have been MUCH happier. The lenses are a dream! I think if Pentax make a mirrorless body with these limited-type lenses they'd have a winner on their hands!
Enough talking, here's two... first from the 40, second from the 70...
