Thanks!

Here's another da40 shot from last night. 3 exposures blended with HDRPad.

I really like this HDR - you can't even tell it's 3 exposures. Seamless.

Where do you find these amazing structures?

Thanks again. This is one of the taller structures around here (small town Western Co). I've had my eye on it literally for years and last night I was just riding by after a nice long evening mountain bike ride (trails are just down the road from here) and the light looked good to get this shot. So I stopped and got it!

If you like HDR and haven't bought any software to do it yet give HDRPad a try. The latest version seems really nice. I'm particularly impressed that it correctly lined up the three images since I took them hand held.

I am too! I was wondering if you were out adventuring with a tripod. Thanks for the tip .

DA 21mm

It's been a while since I posted anything. Here is a recent shot from Basel, Switzerland. I liked the way this one turned out after some processing. I think the leaves look really cool.

LOL!
Hold my sons arm's with my left hand> hold K-5 in right hand> take test shot to get the right exposure (1/30 f/8) > prefocus> start spinning> start snapping photos > stop> fall over
