I used my da40 to take a 22 image panorama (portrait oriented) while I was at the summit yesterday. I searched for a better way to display the result and found this interesting app,
Dermandar. I can't figure out how to embed it here, but check it out on my blog. Pretty neat technology! The da40 is so nice for panoramas due to the very low distortion and great sharpness.

Edit to add: Here's the static version (click for very large one) but it hardly does it justice.
The interactive version (which I think uses Flash) is much more interesting.
Edit again to add: I fixed the missing blog post. D'oh! I hadn't checked the "Publish" button. It should now take you to the interactive panorama I referred to above.
