I went for a walk in a neighboring bigger town today while my wife was at an appointment. Had the K-5 & da40 along.

The 21mm works well for me too.

Nice- I love this kind of shot. Tripod, I presume...

I like the neighborhood shots too, they are soo sharp. The DA40 is an amazing lens- and the wind must have been zero on that day!

Thanks and yes on both counts. Dead calm in the first two and 1.6s exposure on a tripod in the last.
Love that da40 for keeping the kit small and really delivering on IQ!

I saw this on my phone via the flickr app yesterday coming home from work and was gobsmacked. The tones, the atmosphere, the subtle yet incredibly effective DOF isolation of that island...

This may be one of my favorite Mark Littlejohn photos at this point, and that is certainly saying something.
