yiptwo,
I really like that first one of the girl and her phone. Nice shot to begin with, and the processing fits it perfectly.

EDIT: After seeing abieleck's comment, I realized that you shot this on film, not on digital. Did you process the film yourself or send out to a lab? I ask because it just doesn't look like standard processing. Not that I ever processed film myself. But like I said, I really do like the look!

Very nice photos. Wonderful look to the film, and her sweater seems to go perfectly with the hills/trees of the first photo....planned?

So you used the DA70 on a film MZ7....does the DA70 change any in performance or crop? Have you used digital lenses on any other film bodies? K1000?

Sorry if you have answered these questions before.

The look is similar to what Fuji Pro 400H or Kodak Portra would look like, because of the greens and blues I'm leaning towards Fuji.

I took my Limiteds out for a walk in the fresh snow this morning before work.
Here are the DA 40 shots. I also put some in the DA 15 mind control thread.

DA 35mm Ltd.

While out on an assignment for my "Hidden Landscapes" course, I came across these two in a small urban park . The 35 Ltd Macro comes in handy, again!

Not sure whether Oak Leaf 1 is comforting his buddy in the icy snow, or if he's being invited in!

Wow, Mark, that's unique! I love the tone but the upper left is somehow problematic to my eye.

Hey! Mark! Cut it out! You're bending my mind

Seriously good.

How do you decide where the horizon is in a shot like this?

Richard.

Bloody hard :-)

Know what you mean Dave - its going into deep shade behind Place Fell and I've actually done this as a 617 crop as well to remove that problem - started playing with the 617 format and ended up with this as well. I'd processed a similar one as a 2:1 a bit back but didn't bother with this as the sky wasn't as nice. The 617 crop removed the sky from the equation.

Cheers

I am very happy with this version - not something that happens very often.
