The first of these is from the DA 35mm, the others from the DA 70mm.

I've been using my three DA limited lenses a lot recently. Partially because my manual lenses are harder to focus on my K3 than on my K200D (which has a Katzeye). I'm also toying with the idea of taking just them with me for our holiday to San Francisco & Seattle later in the year, but I haven't decided yet. I need to travel a lot lighter than in the past, that's for sure, and I'm not sure whether the way to go is the 21/35/70 combo or the Tamron 17-50.

These were all taken with the DA 35. The last one was a lucky shot, held overhead without being able to see anything. I wanted to see what was on that roof.

Don't know if I posted this on the forums already, anyways here we go. A bookshop in a former church, beautiful location with great light. Nice selection of books too
I have more pics from the same spot, just need to upload them to Flickr sometime, if anyone is interested

Thanks ! It truly was a beautiful day and the 35mm Ltd produced some nice shots

even with somewhat strong shadows and contrast

this one i remember was not spot-on in focus because i adjusted it manually and screw it up :P But it gives a very "3d" feeling

It's sharp and can withstand some cropping if lovely ducklings appear

I've found that the DA35 Ltd (and also the DA15 Ltd, in fact probably the whole DA Limited family) are SUPERB at handling contrasts - they render in such a way as to give a crisp, compelling, slightly larger-than-life result. Uniquely beautiful. Zeiss gives something similar, but not quite the same.

And the amazing thing about the DA LTD glass is, the deep shadow areas are still rendered with considerable detail when one zooms in, and still able to show some micro-contrast, although already so dark! This I attribute to the glass, not the sensor, because I see it evident even in older sensors eg. K-7.

The DA LTDs are in a class of their own in rendering contrast - really special.
