Were the balloons part of a festival ?
Nice shots too

Dave
Many thanks. Yes, the first "accessible" (meaning suitable for disabled people) Segovia balloon festival. I'm glad I got up early for it all three days as the afternoon flights were all cancelled due to winds.

Another couple of shots:

Hi Allen

I don't have a 35 macro ltd only a 40 ltd.
The comment was more tongue in cheek but that had been said in a post in the past
Pics look fine to me

Nice portrait - I'd be interested to know if you corrected any vignetting here as I don't see any and it's a DA lens. Or perhaps you used the K-1's crop mode?

Thank you! I haven't applied any vignetting corrections and it was shot in FF mode but the image was cropped by this much (a this stage it already had some basic adjustments and R,G,B, touches). The reason for cropping it was compositional - not so much to avoid vignetting. To be honest, the da70 at 2.4 on FF gives you a pleasing vignetting effect, in my eyes, at least. I used dxo filmpack for some kick in the colours, with adjustments to liking preferences and keeping in line with being realistic-to-almost-cinematic (I also remove grain effects from their filters). Overall, the lighting conditions were just good.
