Just got 250 very cheap. And I am just amazed the artistic possibilities it offers. Here are few shots on Rikenon 55/1,4. What a beautiful creamy bokeh it makes!
I shall try to get 150 as well. This 250 is the challenge to focus indeed.

To make this combo more user-friendly, set focus on the Tamron to infinity and use the zoom to vary magnification. You still have to contend with the 250's very tight working distance but magnification won't be so extreme.
Thanks. I'll try it out as soon as I can.

The new DA 18-135mm vignettes pretty strongly with the Raynox 150 attached.

Those look great, what focusing distance did you use with the Tamron?

On mine without a diopter, I find the sharpness and CA get pretty bad at MFD, but with diopters I imagine you could get away from it.

I bought the 150 and 250 both recently - and though it's moving into winter here in Sydney, so not a rich cornucopia of bugs, I have been having an absolute ball with the raynox. The ability to take cool images without leaving house makes me understand how macro is so addictive. The depth of field is a challenge at times, I confess, but it's kind of fun at the same time to have such strict limits to work in.

Some bubbles I took on Saturday:

And some water drops...

and the few bugs I've been able to find:
