I like to take pix of flowers (not bugs other than the occasional dragon fly or butterfly). I have a K-5IIs with two kit lenses for walk-around - 18-135mm (62mm dia) & the 55-300mm (58mm dia).
As others mentioned, with 55-300 you better use the DCR-150
and I tried it with the 18-135, it doesn't work! because of Internal Focus design of the lens.

DCR-150 on DA55-300 @ 150mm, the coin lighted with a colorful background on my cellphone screen. just cropped from sides to make for more squarish crop.

Just a couple of flies with the Raynox DCR-250 on top of a Tamron Adaptall SP combo: the 90mm F/2.5 Macro (52BB) and the 2X tele-converter (01F). Off-camera Yongnuo YN-560 III.

Just playing with a Raynox 150 on the Pentax K200/4 lens....very little DoF at any aperture.

Bokeh is old roses.....was about to throw the old bunch of flowers out when I thought there was still some beauty there.....only had to look in a different way.

Great shots, especially the last one. Clicking on an image takes me to Flickr, but I didn't find the exif. What am I missing?

Do you shoot other macro lenses apart from the raynox?
What do you use?

Do you have as much fun compared to the raynox? Does it feel like a true macro shot?
