Maybe the distortion comes from the negative not being totally flat in the scanner?
It looks like distortion barrel to me and this is the only pic I have that shows this effect.

More f1.2 p0rn:

Not a great pic but a big surprise.

These were paintings, not photographs...or at least they looked like paintings.

Daisies with K-3 & Canon 1.2

Daisies with Pentax K-3 and Canon-FD 55mm f 1.2 (permanently adapted to K mount). Canon lens operates like Pentax-M.

Sand Fire "Burning Moon"

Although I've switched to the Panasonic Gh4 due to my video needs I will be grabbing the K1 soon. This is shot on the Gh4 and the Pentax 50/1.2

Canon-FL 55mm f 1.2

A few garden shots with K-3 and my favorite f 1.2 lens. Nice conversion of an old classic Canon-FL lens to K-mount to allow using automatic modes as desired with no need for the green button. The lens is also nice to stop down, and much beyond 2.8 is about as sharp as the Pentax D FA 50mm f 2.8 macro.

Hi everyone. I just got my K-1 and completed it with a smc 1:1.2 50mm. Here's one of my test pictures using both.

I'll try and be more active in the forum.
