and if someone would emphasize on in-focus, the f1.2 can do that as well at wide open, although it could be a lil bit tricky to perform.

The spirit rises

Nice shot. I love how the cosina/revuenon makes white flowers glow. Heres one from my revuenon

Not sure which I prefer ... the Revuenon 55 at f1.2......

(Revenuenon 55 f1.2 at f1.2 - crop)

(Revenuenon 55 f1.2 at f1.2)

(Revenuenon 55 f1.2 at f1.2 - crop)

Or the Pentax A50 1:1.2..................

(Pentax A50 1:1.2 - Some LR PP - crop/curves/vignette)

(Pentax A50 1:1.2)

Both of these lenses are fantastic. The Revuenon has the amazing bokeh, but slightly larger minimum focusing distance that frustrates me now and then. The Pentax has the amazing build quality, 'correct' bokeh (especially stopped down a little) and (to my eye) better colour, contrast, and control of CA. But to me, both of these amazing lenses are keepers.

Thanks for all the great images on the thread, seeing them convinced me I had to have both. And I only hope to one day get close to some of the eye-popping results I can see here.

John

I meant to put f/1.2, apologies for the confusion. Fixed now
