Is the 50mm f/1.2 still in production and for sale in Japan? That is one of the lenses I would like to see modernized (improved and brought back with AF).

I think they ran a couple new batches. It would cost a fortune if they put AF in it. Would be nice though

Las fotos en f1.2 me parecen demasiado blandas y el bokeh se diluye en exceso. Me gusta mas, en general, el bokeh que ofrece el f1.4.

ignore the skin tone color, its an old picture that I screwed up with. bad WB i believe

I guess you are in the wrong place then

For 1.2 these look pretty sharp to me, considering the focus point is like 1mm square and these are all handheld

try stop down at f1.4 and it is sharper. besides, f1.4 lens can't do f1.2.
