If you're referring to anything with an f1.2 aperture, AFAIK there is only one that is a Pentax "A" lens. If you're talking about A-50/1.4, A-50/1.7, etc., that requires a whole lot more explanation!

Ahh, "EX+" is a term of condition, lol...

But there seem to be two different versions of the 1.2- from eBay (photos). Hmm, will figure it out.

This thread is inspirational. I was going to get a 1.4, but after seeing this I am seeing a kidney for a 1.2

The K50 1.2 has met a new friend... the K-5! Sadly it has to go back to the shop as it has the dreaded spots on the sensor.

The A-50 I just got was described as "mint" by a seller in Hong Kong; he had two, the other was (IIRC) "EX+", but was noted to possibly have a little dust inside "which has no effect on images". Now the dust comment may or may not be true, but I opted for the mint sample which had no such disclaimer- and yes indeed it is absolutely pristine! I have the seller's name if you want to cross-reference, if it is the same guy then he is a reputable seller. FYI it only took 4 business days to Michigan from Hong Kong!

The dust thing scares me away a little, but I guess I could get it cleaned by a tech for $100 or so. I sure wish Pentax would make one again- there is no evidence that they are even considering it, that I've seen.

Got my Cosina 55mm f1.2 yesterday and here is my first shot from it trying out what f1.2 is like

Where did you get the Cosina? I've not been able to find any Cosina lenses on eBay.

Try Germany e-bay and include international seller when you search. :-)
