Can't seem to find another, and it looks like that version is the only one with 9 blades. Oh well, one day I'll enter the 1.2 club- if I ever see one of those again, that is.
When were these lenses last produced?
This is why sniping tools like gixen exist… don't have to wake up to win an auction.

Get the Revuenon 55/1.2, it is the same lens, and also made by Cosina. I have it, and I kept it and sold the Pentax-A 50/1.2. I cannot find a similar sharp lens at f1.2. Cosina is a factory that makes the Voigtlanders too.

There are 2 cosinon 55 1.2 lenses on ebay right now at 385 and 430 buy it now. Also 1 revuenon for $1165 OBO. And a Porst made by Cosina for 399 -- supposedly better quality than the ones that go to f/22 (which is what I have).

Thanks guys- that cleared up a lot of questions. I may have one shortly.

Great Christmas tree! I didn't know the porst also came in "A" version..

My christmas entry:

And a candid portraiture of my nephew (who was playing with a toy camera and reacted with this face running towards me when he saw me fetch the K5, )

It didn't. I just have a small piece of foil inside my lens mount shorting out the A pin so it acts like one.

Has anyone posted a pic taken with the K-3? I'm curious about Focus Peaking and the 1.2.

I just finished the Single in December challenge with the Revuenon 55mm 1:1.2 MC. What a great lens - recommended!

Not that I'm too crazy about those very thin DOFs, but I just scored a Porst 55/1.2. As it will be my 5th fifty I suppose I can't deny being infected by LBA.

And 50ish is not really a good focal length for me anyway

Yay! Cosina 55 1.2 has arrived, and it's a real beauty! I already love it and I haven't even mounted it on a camera yet. Thanks, Pam!

Isn't it amazing just how *huge* the rear glass is on these things?
