I bought it from a Pentaxuser forum member in London and had a friend (expat) bring it along on a recent visit.
Yes, its worth every penny and my first serious lens - haha.
I've got the Sigma 170-500 for sale but after lots of interest not a single firm offer and I'am down to R3900.
I'll be doing everything with the F*300 (incl 1.5 converter) so the Sigma will just gather dust - but I did get some lovely shots during the airshow and Etosha trip.

A quick picture of my new lens which arrived today ... off down the Gym for a few weeks so I can use it.

Was browsing an online camera retailers used equipment and there it was. It must have only been up a few hours as It wasn't on their web page the day before.
