Let's go for a couple others from the FA*400


this time with the K-3 II

Simili macro shot with a long focal lens... laying flat down on the ground at the insect level, and close to the minimum focal distance..

Unedited and hand-held image from the K-1 ii and F* 250-600 in the rain:

If you got this far, you probably should.

I’m sure you know, but the F*300 is lighter and has the built-in hood, and has the same optical formula. Finding one might be harder, though.

That's part of the problem; I've come this far and still don't have a 300mm prime.

Yes, I like the F* 300 better than the FA* but one day I'd like to trade my F* 250-600 with someone here who has the FA* version so I have all the FA* lenses. I've been communicating with a member in Australia who has nearly all the F* lenses, but he has an FA* 250-600. Unfortunately neither of us have a intercontinental trip planned in the near future.

OK, I see. We're all crossing our fingers and hoping to plan such things before we're too much older. Best of luck with it (and keep up the good work. I always enjoy your photos here).
