Just gorgeous, Falke! I spent quite a bit of time just looking at the waves, and all that silky water, offset with the glow of the sun.
Did you align both ND filters toward the sky?
Thanks, for the tip on putting the polarizer on after the ND filters. Guess that means the P cokin ND won't work with my Polarizer. I will also check the Polarizer for banding to see if it's a keeper.

What a marvelous shot with saturated deep sky colors - almost 3-D - with the deep yellow of the burning sun. The rocks and gaseous water flowing over it has heightened the impact. I never new a CPL and ND went well together, that too two NDs. I read somewhere that two CPLs stacked on each other gave very interesting results and even acted as NDs.
But personally I think making flowing water look like gas ( not petrol or gasolene as known in the US) is a little extreme. As an old "fart" maybe I am wrong. But water should look like bubbling water as described by nostalgic poets. The sound of flowing water in streams and waterfalls are truly nostalgic and comforting. I did not feel comforted by the gassy water flow though. Just my 2-cents.

More Sigma 10-20

Hardly used this lens lately, have been spending time with the DA35 Ltd instead. Anyway, here are two humble offerings...

A recently rediscovered vertical pano from 2008:

And one from my last holiday:

That's a great shot, Designosophy ()! Is that the same asylum I keep seeing on all the ghost hunting shows? Love the colors! I need to re-discover my 10-20. I've been stuck on the 30mm 1.4 since I got it, though.

Thanks, and if I had the 30/1.4, I'd probably be stuck on it for quite a while too. I've heard that this place (Pennhurst) was on Ghost Hunters, but I don't know what else. have no interest in such TV shows, oddly enough.

I'm enjoying the last holiday photo. Must have been taken around dusk?

In fact your reflection on the chrome bumper adds to the beauty of the shot. Are you holding a monopod or something FI_... And this is a classic photo of a classic car - great contrast, color and all round sharpness, considering chrome is difficult to shoot w/o artifacts. Congratulations.
Request please share all the shooting parameters and your camera settings for this awesome shot.

It's OK since your shirt matches the color of the car so well.
Nicely Done!

This just has that 'look' that fits the abandoned hospital/asylum. Don't know what it is though...
Very nice capture and pp to make it look the way it does.
